our meeting at 19:08:09 on 24/06/2009
Our first meeting after the summer break was again interesting as well as enriching. We have been working on three cases: First, Peter
briefly presented a case that he is mediating in the coming weeks. The case is to be carried out as a short mediation in co-mediation. Besides preparing a short mediation, it was also about the topic of how we work in co-mediation with our co-mediators. Our experiences ranged from a well-agreed procedures (for example, a leading mediation, a visualized; abwechselde cable per phase, etc.) not agreed to a common fluid management. The lively discussion on the advantages and disadvantages, and our good and bad experiences brought us above all the recognition that both a previous role clarification and an exchange of the individual concepts and perceptions of mediation are useful and important in order to be carried out the co-mediation successful.
went in a little digression on the Reflecting Team then in a case of Beate about how and in what form we can bring in sensitive situations reservations on the table.
The second case presented Friedhelm. His aim was to clear about why it has remained for a really successful mediation is a little insecure feeling about the solution. The mediation was successful, the parties have agreed suddenly very surprising to the effect that one of the parties on his right (about 250,000 €) completely abandoned, and that only against the commitment to obtain new contracts.
core theme was the use of power imbalance in mediation and the individual attitude of the mediator to do so.
In our third case involved a conflict with a legal assistant in a shared office, undermine the clerical time and again. Besides the topic of the role and responsibility it was all about that to be clarified between the lawyers of the office space needs, what ideas and expectations they have of an employee to look like they want to deal with the difficulties, what the limits are and how alternatives can.
prepare the subject contract clarification and affirmative access Christopher and I have something for our next meeting before.
